There is a Madonna vocal on this 'Dub Mix' of 'Shake Your Head', which features on the 12" B-side in error. It wasn't withdrawn, to my knowledge, and certainly made it to the shops. The 'Dub Mix' included on the CD single format is also exactly the same mix, and some of Madonna's lines do still appear. For example, "Let's go to bed", right at the end, is clearly Madonna. Furthermore, there's a version which features a full Madonna vocal, which runs at 6:49 in length, and this version is found on the various artists compilation album, Now Dance 92. However, it is only found on the vinyl 2LP or the cassette editions. The CD format uses the 7" edit, without Madonna's vocal. It's the same mix used on the 'Shake Your Head' 12" single (WASX11), only without Kim Bassinger and Madonna instead. It's a shame she didn't agree to let them use it, it's a cool track. I love it!

The 'B' side of this record actually features the vocals of pre-fame Madonna. She originally recorded vocals "Shake your head" with the band, but her vocal was not used in the final cut. However, when Steve hurley remixed the song, Ozzie's vocals were dropped and portions of Madonna's vocal was used. The release was apparently withdrawn!

Furthermore, there's a leaked version, which runs at 6:43 in length, which features the entire, full Madonna vocal. The source of this version is unknown, but it appears to have been transfered from a cassette tape rather than vinyl or CD and it's the same mix used on the 'Shake Your Head' 12" single (WASX11), only without Kim Bassinger and Madonna instead. It's a shame she didn't agree to let them use it, it's a cool track. I love it!
